Create Daily Construction Report Log Entries

To create an entry in the Daily Construction Report Log of the Project level Daily Log tool.


The Daily Construction Report Log lets you add tracking information about the total number of workers and total number of hours worked for each vendor/company and trade on a project. To be available as selections in the log, selections in the Company drop-down list are created in the Directory tool (see Add a Company to the Project Directory) and selections in the Trade drop-down list are added in the Company level Admin tool. Trades must be associated with the companies before they will be selectable from this log. See Add or Delete Trades

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions: 'Standard' level permission or above on the project's Daily Log tool.


  1. Navigate to the project's Daily Log tool.
  2. Click Create Daily Log.
  3. Select the Daily Construction Report Log from the drop-down menu.
  4. Scroll to the Daily Construction Report Log.
  5. Enter the following information.

    • No.: This uneditable field counts the number of entries in a Log category. (e.g. The first log entry created will be No. 1. The second log entry will be No. 2).

    • Company: Select from the company name from the drop-down menu.

    • Trade: Select the trade associated with the entry from the drop-down menu. You can only select from the trades already added to the project. See Add or Delete Trades.

    • Foreman: Enter the total number of foremen on site that day followed by the total number of hours worked.

    • Journeyman: Enter the total number of journeymen on site that day followed by the total number of hours worked.

    • Apprentice: Enter the total number of apprentices on site that day followed by the total number of hours worked.

    • Others: Enter the number of any other workers and the total number of hours worked.

    • Notes: Enter any notes that may describe the log entry. Pull the bottom right corner to expand the field.

    • Attachments: Attach any additional files to the log entry. Click Attach File(s) to select a file from your computer, or drag-and-drop the file from your computer to the gray area designated by Drag and Drop your File(s). Once you save your item, users will be able to click the attachment and view the attachment in Procore's document viewer.

  6. Click the Save button.
