I have the correct permissions. Why can't I see the Payments tool?

Background
To access the payments tool as a payee, you need the required permissions. Permissions differ based on whether your company has a free or paid Procore account. See How can I tell if I have a free or paid Procore account?
- For Paid Procore Accounts:
- 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Directory tool.
- For Free Procore Accounts:
- 'System Administrator' for your company's free Procore account. See How do permissions work for free Procore accounts?
Answer
Sometimes, even when you have the appropriate permissions, you may not be able to access the Payments tool. If this happens, please Contact Payment Operations.
PROCORE SUPPORT: INTERNAL NOTES
When the payments tool is enabled for both free and paid payee accounts, a 'Payments Admin' permission is automatically incorporated into the permissions of current users with 'Company Admin' and 'System Admin' permissions level.
However, users given 'Company Admin' or 'System Admin' privileges after the payments tool has been enabled will not have the 'Payments Admin' permission automatically incorporated into their permissions. This is short-term and will need to be managed by Payment Ops in the meantime.
