How do permissions work for free Procore accounts?

Free Procore accounts are currently only available in the United States and Canada.

Background

When you create your free Procore Account and set up your company information, you can add other users to be a part of your company. You can decide what level of permissions they have in Procore.

Answer

There are 3 different permission levels available for users with a free Procore account:

 

Permission Level Available Actions
Member
  • View other users on the Team page.
  • View projects and bids that they have been invited to. 
Team Administrator
  • View other users on the Team page.
  • View projects and bids that they have been invited to. 
  • Manage company settings.
System Administrator
  • View other users on the Team page.
  • View projects and bids that they have been invited to. 
  • Manage company settings.
  • Add and invite users.
  • Edit user information and permissions.
  • Deactivate or reactivate a user.
 PROCORE SUPPORT: INTERNAL NOTES

When the payments tool is enabled for both free and paid payee accounts, a 'Payments Admin' permission is automatically incorporated into the permissions of current users with 'Company Admin' and 'System Admin' permissions level.

However, users given 'Company Admin' or 'System Admin' privileges after the payments tool has been enabled will not have the 'Payments Admin' permission automatically incorporated into their permissions. This is short-term and will need to be managed by Payment Ops in the meantime.
