Cost Tracker (Portfolio Financials)

 Note
This feature is only available for accounts with the Portfolio Financials product in Procore. Reach out to your Procore point of contact for more information.

The Cost Tracker in Portfolio Financials allows you to track committed and forecasted costs against your budget over the course of a project. The Budget tab within the Cost Tracker is where you can build project budgets with variances and anticipated costs. You can see your project financials update in real time on your project's Cost Tracker as you start committing costs and managing invoices and change orders.

HIGHLIGHTS Show/Hide
  • Utilize cost tracker templates to create standardization across common project types within your organization.
  • Take actions within each cost item, whether it is bidding out, awarding a contract directly, or logging non-contracted invoices.
  • Choose from two different budgeting types; a broken down budget, which will allow you to assign budgets to individual cost items through the Cost Tracker, and an overall (lump sum) budget, where you have one amount for the entire project.
