To compare two different drawings against each other.
You may use this feature to drill into an individual drawing and compare it to new drawing versions to see what has changed. Once you have the desired comparisons on screen, you are able to download the drawing comparisons for distribution.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permission: 'Read Only' and above on the project's Drawings tool.
- This tool is not supported by Internet Explorer 9.
- Drawings of different sizes cannot be compared.
- You must have uploaded a new version of a drawing in Procore. To see how to upload a drawing, see Upload Drawings. To see how to upload a new version of a drawing, see Upload Drawing Revisions.
To compare versions, navigate to your project's Drawings tool.
Click Info next to the drawing on which you would like to compare versions.
Note: Drawings that have one or more versions have the number of versions in the 'Revision #' column.
Under the Versions section, click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to the drawing to which you want to compare the version you are viewing.
Click Compare to this version.
Note: You will be directed to a page that overlaps the two drawings and highlights the changes for you.
Note: Any items in the drawing that were removed between the old version and the newer version will appear in red. Any items in the drawing that were added to the new version will appear in blue.
Click the Download button in the top right to download the comparison for distribution.
When you are finished, click back to the Drawing list page using the breadcrumbs at the top.
