View the Deleted Specifications Report
Objective
To view a Deleted Specifications report with the project's Specifications tool.
Background
Users with 'Admin' level permissions to the Specifications tool can view a Deleted Specifications report. This report lists all of the spec sections that have been deleted from a project. It also provides you with the date the deletion occurred and the name of the user who performed the action.

- Required User Permissions:
- 'Admin' level permissions on the Specifications tool.
- 'Admin' level permissions on the Specifications tool.
- Additional Information:
- This feature is available on Procore projects created after May 26, 2016. For projects created prior to this date, contact your Procore point of contact or email support@procore.com.
Prerequisites
- One or more spec sections must have been deleted from the project. See Delete Spec Section Revisions.
Steps
- Navigate to the project's Specifications tool.
- Click the Trash tab.
This following information is displayed:- Number. The spec section number.
- Revision. The spec section revision number.
- Issued Date. The date the spec section was issued.
- Received Date. The date the spec section was received.
- Set. The name of the set.
- Deleted Date. The date the spec section was deleted.
- Deleted By. The name of the person who deleted the spec section.
- Choose from these options:
- Download the deleted spec section: Mark the checkbox next to the desired spec section. Then click the Download button.
Note: You cannot retrieve deleted spec sections. Instead, you must download it. If you want to add it back to the Specifications tool, see Upload Specifications. - Narrow the spec sections in view: Follow the steps in Search and Filter for Specifications.
- Export the deleted spec section data: Click the PDF or CSV button next to the Export Data As label.
- Download the deleted spec section: Mark the checkbox next to the desired spec section. Then click the Download button.
