Delete Specification Section Revisions
Objective
To delete specification section revisions from a project's specifications log.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions
- Deleting a specification is permanent and cannot be recovered. This is to protect your current set of specifications from being overwritten with an older revision that could have otherwise been retrieved from the Recycle Bin.
- If you select a specification sheet with multiple revisions, only the most recently published revision will be deleted.
- If a specification sheet does not have a previously published revision, the entire specification sheet will be deleted.
Prerequisites
- If a specification section is linked to any items in Procore, you need to unlink the specification section before deleting it. See the Unlink a Specification Section below.
Steps
- Navigate to the project's Specifications tool.
- Optional: Search and Filter Specifications.
Tip
To delete an older revision, filter by the set where the revision was uploaded. - Mark the checkboxes for the specifications you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
- Click Delete to confirm.

- Click the Related Items tab.
- Click Edit.
- Click the remove
icon next to the item.
