Search for and Filter Coordination Issues

Objective

To search for and filter coordination issues.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the project's Coordination Issues tool.
  • Additional Information:
    • You can combine search and filter parameters to narrow down results further (e.g. enter a term in the Search bar, and then add a filter in addition to the search).

Steps

Follow steps from one of the following options:

From the Procore Plugin for Coordination Issues

Search for Coordination Issues

  1. Open the Navisworks® application on your computer.
  2. Click the Procore tab to open up the Procore plug-in.
    Tip! Click the title bar of the Procore plug-in and drag it to the right side panel so you can easily view both Procore and your model at the same time. 
  3. Open the model in which you're working.
    Note: Make sure the model is associated with a project in Procore. See Associate a Model with a Procore Project.
  4. Click the All Issues tab to view all issues in the project that you have access to.
    OR
    Click the Assigned to Me tab to view all issues in the project that are assigned to you.
  5. Type a keyword in the Search field.
    The following fields can be searched:
    • Title
    • Number
    • Assignee Company
      Note: If the assignee has no company, search by "no company."
  6. Click the magnifying glass icon or press ENTER on your keyboard to initiate the search.
    The system reveals a list that matches your search criteria.
    Note: To exit out of the search, click the X icon in the Search bar.

Filter Coordination Issues

  1. Open the Navisworks® application on your computer.
  2. Click the Procore tab to open up the Procore plug-in.
    Tip! Click the title bar of the Procore plug-in and drag it to the right side panel so you can easily view both Procore and your model at the same time. 
  3. Open the model in which you're working.
    Note: Make sure the model is associated with a project in Procore. See Associate a Model with a Procore Project.
  4. Click the All Issues tab to view all issues in the project that you have access to.
    OR
    Click the Assigned to Me tab to view all issues in the project that are assigned to you.
  5. Click the filter icon-filter.png icon.
  6. Mark the checkboxes next to the filters you want to apply.  
    Choose from the following filter options:
    • Created Date
    • Due Date
    • Assignee
    • Assignee Company
    • Location
    • Status
      Note: The filters can be applied and combined with each other to narrow down results.
  7. Complete the information for the selected fields in each filter applied. 
  8. Click Apply
    The system reveals a list that matches your filter parameters.
    Note: A badge icon will appear on the filter icon if filters are applied. To clear a filter, clear any fields and unmark the checkbox next to the filter.

Search for Coordination Issues

  1. Open Revit® on your computer.
  2. Navigate to a 3D view in the project browser of Revit®.
  3. Click the Procore tab.
  4. Click Coordination Issues.
  5. In the Coordination Issues side panel, select the project in Procore.
  6. Click the All Issues tab to view all issues in the project that you have access to.
    OR
    Click the Assigned to Me tab to view all issues in the project that are assigned to you.
  7. Enter a keyword into the search field.
  8. Click the magnifying glass icon or press ENTER on your keyboard to initiate the search.
    Note: To exit out of the search, click the X icon in the Search bar.

Filter Coordination Issues

  1. Open Revit® on your computer.
  2. Navigate to a 3D view in the project browser of Revit®.
  3. Click the Procore tab.
  4. Click Coordination Issues.
  5. In the Coordination Issues side panel, select the project in Procore.
  6. Click the All Issues tab to view all issues in the project that you have access to.
    OR
    Click the Assigned to Me tab to view all issues in the project that are assigned to you.
  7. Click the filter icon-filter.png icon.
  8. Choose from the following filter options:
    • Created Date
    • Due Date
    • Assignee
    • Assignee Company
    • Location
    • Status
      Note: The filters can be applied and combined with each other to narrow down results.
  9. Click Apply.

From the Coordination Issues Tool

Search for Coordination Issues

  1. Navigate to the project's Coordination Issues tool on app.procore.com.
  2. Click the All Issues tab to view all issues in the project that you have access to.
    OR
    Click the Assigned to Me tab to view all issues in the project that are assigned to you.
  3. Type a keyword in the Search field. 

    The search feature supports the use of advanced search symbols. To learn more, see What is an advanced search symbol in Procore?

    The following fields can be searched:
    • Title
    • Number 
  4. Click the magnifying glass icon or press ENTER on your keyboard to initiate the search.
    The system reveals a list that matches your search criteria.
    Note: To exit out of the search, click the X icon in the Search bar.

Filter Coordination Issues

  1. Navigate to the project's Coordination Issues tool on app.procore.com.
  2. Click the All Issues tab to view all issues in the project that you have access to
    OR
    Click the Assigned to Me tab to view all issues in the project that are assigned to you.
  3. Click Add Filter to select filters to apply to the coordination issues. 
  4. Choose from the following filters:
    • Assignee Company
    • Assignee
    • Created By
    • Source
    • Location
    • Status
      Note: The filters can be applied and combined with each other to narrow down results. You can only add one filter at a time; click Add Filter to add additional filters if desired.
  5. The system reveals a list that matches your filter parameters.
    Click Clear All to clear the filters and load all coordination issues.

Sort Coordination Issues

You can sort the list of coordination issues in your project by specific parameters. Click one of the following column headers:

  • #
  • Due Date
  • Created By

Note: Click the column header again to switch between ascending (i.e., the up arrow) and descending (i.e., the down arrow).
