Edit a Task
Background
The Tasks tool allows you to edit (update) and manage your project tasks.
Note: Users with 'Admin' level permission can edit all project tasks, while those with 'Standard' level permission can only edit project tasks they created or are assigned to.

You can edit the Due Date and Status fields of a task directly from the Tasks page.

You can change the status of a task when adding a comment.

When you change a task's status to Void or Closed, the Procore app no longer sends automated email notifications for that task.

Steps

Navigate to the project's Tasks tool.

Do one of the following:

Click Edit next to the task you want to modify.

To edit tasks in bulk, mark the checkboxes next to the tasks you want to edit.

Click any field to edit its information. Repeat this process for each field you wish to change.

Do one of the following:

Click Save to save changes to a single task.

Click Apply to save changes to tasks edited in bulk.
