View Project Reports
Objective
To view all of your project's reports in your project's Reports tool.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- Company admins can view any report if given the URL or shared with them. Otherwise:
- To view a custom project report:
- Access to the report as its creator.
OR - The report must be shared with you. See Share a Custom Project Report.
- Access to the report as its creator.
- To view a shared custom project report:
Note: By default, shared custom project reports are accessible by any user who has 'Admin' permissions on the Project level Reports tool.- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Project level Reports tool.
AND - Additional permissions to view the following project reports:
- Custom Project Reports: Core Tools
- To view a custom project report using Directory as the source: 'Admin' level permissions on the Project level Directory tool.
- Custom Project Reports: Financial Management Tools
- To view a custom project report using Budget as the source: 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Budget tool AND 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Admin tool. Note: Some budget reports can be viewed from the Budget tool. To learn more, see View Budget Reports.
- To view a custom project report using the Change Management sources:
- Change Event Line Item Details source: 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Change Events tool.
- Potential Change Orders and Change Orders sources: 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Budget, Commitments, and Prime Contracts tools.
- To view a custom project report using the Financial Line Items sources: 'Admin' level permissions on all Financial Management tools.
- To view a custom project report using Owner Invoices as the source: 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Prime Contracts tool.
- To view a custom project report using Subcontractor Invoices as the source: 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Commitments tool.
- Custom Project Reports: Core Tools
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Project level Reports tool.
- To view a shared custom project report that was created with Enhanced Reporting:
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Project level Reports tool with additional permissions depending on the field group. See What additional user permissions are required to access reportable data with enhanced reporting?
- To view Schedule Reports:
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Project level Reports tool
AND - 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Schedule tool.
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Project level Reports tool
- To view Daily Log Reports:
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Project level Reports tool
AND - 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the project's Daily Log tool.
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Project level Reports tool
Steps
- Navigate to the Project level Reports tool.
- To view a report, click the title of the report. Reports are categorized by the following:
- My Custom Reports: Custom project reports that you created or that were shared with you.
- Project Reports: General reports that display data that span the project.
- Financial Reports: Reports related to financials, such as budget and change order reports.
Note: When the Budget tool is turned "On," the Budget Forecast Report and Budget Variance Report will not appear. When the Budget tool is turned "Off," The Budget Modifications and Budget Variance Report will not appear. - Schedule Reports: Reports related to the project's scheduled tasks and changes.
Note: Schedule Reports only report on data from schedule files uploaded to the Project level Schedule tool and do not report on data manually entered in Procore. - Daily Log Reports: Reports related to different logs in the Daily Log tool.
- Once you click into a report, you can not edit the report. However, you can export the report as PDF.
