Edit a Drawing Area

Objective

To edit the name or description of a drawing area in the project's Drawings tool.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Admin' on the project's Drawings tool.
  • Additional Information:
    • You can only edit the name and description of a drawing area. If you want to edit drawings within a drawing area, see Edit Drawings.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Drawings tool.
  2. Click the Drawing Areas page if you are already in a drawing area.
    Note: Each area will be displayed with the name of the area, when the area was updated and created, and how many drawings are in the area.
  3. Click the gear icon-settings-gear-grey.png icon on the drawing area you want to edit.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Edit the drawing area name or description.
  6. Click Update.
