Review RFQ Responses
Objective
To review a quote submitted by a collaborator in response to a Request for Quote (RFQ).
Background
When a change event affects a commitment, your project team has the option to create an RFQ to obtain a quote from a collaborator on your project. See Create RFQs from a Change Event. When adding a collaborator's quote to Procore, your team has these options:
- Your team can assign an RFQ to a collaborator and then send it to the collaborator email. See Assign an RFQ. Next, your collaborator can submit their quote as described in Submit a Quote as a Collaborator. Then, you can proceed with the steps below.
OR - If your team doesn't want to grant collaborators the permissions they need to submit a quote directly in Procore, you can manage the quote submission process outside of Procore. If you choose this option, you will want to enter the quote you received into Procore as described in Respond to an RFQ on Behalf of a Collaborator. Then, you can proceed with the steps below.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- To review an RFQ response, 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the project's Change Events tool.
- To change the status of the RFQ, you must have 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Change Events tool.
Tip
