project-level administration for the assets tool (08/18/2026)
Procore introduced new project-level Admin settings within the Assets tool to provide more granular control over asset types and subtypes. The Asset Types tab enabled Project Asset Admins to override Asset Type IDs and manage the visibility of specific asset types to ensure the right asset types along with the right IDs are available as per project requirements. ASSETS GENERALLY AVAILABLE ON MOBILE (07/21/2026)
When searching the main search bar in the mobile app, you can now search by Asset IDs, names, or types and navigate directly to the Asset Detail page from the search results. BIM Integration Generally Available for United Kingdom and Ireland (07/21/2026)
Procore released the Assets-BIM integration as generally available to customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland, allowing users to extract asset data directly from BIM model files into the Assets tool. See Import Assets from a 3D BIM Model and View Assets in a 3D BIM Model.
