Procore

How does Procore handle viruses in uploaded files?

Users with applicable permissions in your account are able to upload any files to tools and attachment fields in Procore. If you or a user in your account were to upload a file with a virus or other malware (malicious software), that file will be stored in Procore as-is. If the file is then downloaded, other users or computers may be affected.

In order to protect your assets from viruses or other malware, Procore recommends always running anti-virus software and not opening files from unknown sources.

If you suspect that a corrupted file has been uploaded to an attachment field in Procore, you can edit that field, remove the file, and save the item. Procore recommends deleting the file from your computer as well.
