Add Accident Log Entries

Objective

To add an entry to the Accident Log of the Project level Daily Log tool.

Background

The Accident Log tracks the party or company involved in any accidents that occurred onsite. 

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions: 'Standard' level permission or above on the project's Daily Log tool.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Daily Log tool.
  2. Scroll to the Accident Log.
  3. Enter the following information.


     
    • No.: This uneditable field counts the number of entries in a Log category. (e.g. The first log entry created will be No. 1. The second log entry will be No. 2).

    • Log Date: This field specifies the date that the daily log entry applies to. This field will only display when viewing multiple days in the Daily Log tool and is uneditable.

    • Time: Indicate the time the entry happened by selecting the hour and minutes from the drop down menus.

    • Party Involved: Enter the person involved in the accident. Double-click to see a list of selectable people in the project's Directory.

    • Company Involved: Enter the company that was involved in the accident. Double-click to display a list of companies from your Directory tool.

    • Comments: Enter any comments that may be needed to further describe the entry. Pull the bottom right corner to expand the field.

    • Attachments: Attach any additional files to the log entry. Click Attach File(s) to select a file from your computer, or drag-and-drop the file from your computer to the gray area designated by Drag and Drop your File(s).

  4. Click the + Add button.
