Create a Specification Set

Objective

To create a new specification set.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions
  • You can only create a new specification set when you upload new specifications. 
  • You can only upload specifications that are saved as (.pdf) files.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Specifications tool.
  2. Click Upload.
  3. Select a file to upload. See Upload Specifications.
     Tip
    It is recommended that you upload your spec book as one PDF  instead of uploading each section as a separate file. 
  4. Click the Specifcation Set drop-down menu. 
  5. Enter the name of the new set into the Search bar.
  6. Click Create Set.
  7. Enter the information for the set. See Upload Specifications for a list of fields.
  8. Click Process.
