Export the Company Directory to CSV or PDF


To export the Company Directory to a Comma Separated Values (CSV) or Portable Document Format (PDF) file. 


You can export the Company Directory to the PDF or CSV file format. Depending on your web browser's settings, the system will either open the file or download it to the 'Downloads' location on your computer. Typically, this is a 'Downloads' folder on your computer. However, your browser's settings may be different. See your web browser's Help system or visit the manufacturer's support site for to learn how to change the download location. 

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permission:
    • 'Standard' level permission or higher on the company's Directory tool.
  • Support Views:
    • Procore supports exports for these views: Users, Companies, or Distribution Groups
    • Exports are NOT supported on the Inactive Users or Inactive Companies views. 
  • Supported Export File Formats:
    • Portable Document File (PDF)
    • Comma Separated Values (CSV)

  1. Navigate to the company's Directory tool.
    This reveals the Company Directory page. 
  2. Click the tab that corresponds to the view that you want to export. You can choose from: Users, Companies, or Distribution Groups
    Note: The Inactive Users or Inactive Companies view do NOT provide export options.
  3. Click one of these options:
    • Export > PDF. Downloads your company's Directory data as a PDF file (Note: The PDF provides a print out summarizing all of the Company and Persons in the database. It also lists any Distribution Groups that have been created). 
    • Export > CSV. Downloads your company's Directory data as a CSV file (Note: The CSV file contains these data columns for each record in the directory: Person/Vendor Id, First Name, Last Name, Company, Job Title, Country, Address, City, State, {{zip_uc_word}}, Business Phone, Mobile Phone, Fax Number, Email, Tags/Keywords, Project Roles, Trade(s), Permission Template, and Standard Cost Code List).
