Configure Email Notifications when Creating New Projects

Background

Set up notifications to automatically alert a distribution group when a new project is created. This keeps key stakeholders informed about new projects the moment they are created, reducing duplicate projects, accelerating project work, and giving leaders real-time visibility into the project pipeline—including early-stage concept projects.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions on the company's Admin tool.

• Additional Information:

  • You can only select one distribution group to be notified when new projects are created.

Prerequisites

• Add a Distribution Group to the Company Directory

Steps

1. Navigate to the Company level Admin tool.

2. Under 'Project Settings' click Email Notifications.

3. Select the distribution group to be notified when new projects are created.

4. Click Save Changes.
