2019
Below are the notable changes to the Company level Admin tool in 2019.
Action Fieldsets and Field Options for Incidents (11/19/2019)
Users with 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Admin tool can now configure fieldsets for Incident actions and create field options for 'Action Type'. See Which fields in the Incidents tool can be configured as required, optional, or hidden? and Add Custom Options for Incident Fields.
Ability to Create Custom Fields for the Daily Log Tool's Manpower Log (11/14/2019)
Company Admin users can now create custom fields for the Daily Log tool's Manpower Log using configurable fieldsets. See Create New Custom Fields. These custom fields will function like other fields in Procore and can be included in reports in the Company and Project level Reports tools.
Add Classification for Labor/Workers (10/25/2019)
Admin users can now enter a list of classifications for your laborers or workers into Procore so that you can better capture the classification of your workforce when entering timesheets. See Add a Classification.
Create Multiple Versions of Configurable Fieldsets (8/12/2019)
Users with 'Admin' permission on the company's Admin tool can now create multiple fieldsets to use for different projects. See Create New Configurable Fieldsets.
New! Enable Security Settings (5/17/2019)
Users with 'Admin' level permission on the company's Admin tool can now request to enable security settings for logins, passwords, and session timeout intervals. See Enable Security Settings for Logins, Passwords, and Session Timeout Intervals.
New! Enable Single-Sign On Setting (5/16/2019)
Procore has updated the Single Sign On Configuration page to add a new Enable Single Sign On checkbox. This provides your company's Procore Administrator with the ability to configure SSO for your environment. To learn how to configure SSO, see Azure Active Directory SSO, Okta SSO, or OneLogin SSO.
Updated Service Account Creation (5/9/2019)
Procore has implemented a new security enhancement for service accounts. Now, when users with 'Admin' level permission on the Company Admin tool create a service account, the client secret (i.e., the unique identifier that acts like a password) will only be accessible at the time of creation. Clients will now need to save it in a secure location and the secret will not be visible after this point. If for any reason you lose the client secret, you will have to create a new service account. See Add, Modify, or Delete a Service Account.
New Fieldsets and Field Options for Incidents (4/4/2019)
Procore now provides users with 'Admin' level permission on the Company level Admin tool with the ability to configure fieldsets and field options for the Incidents tool. To learn more, see About Configured Incidents Fieldsets and Field Options.
Admins Can Now Archive Standard Cost Codes on ERP-Integrated Projects (1/8/2019)
Updated the Company level Admin tool to give Procore Administrators with the ability to archive Standard Cost Codes in Procore in order to prevent project users from adding those codes to a project. The archive action does not remove Standard Cost Codes from all lists. This update only affects users that have set up the ERP Integrations tool for Procore.
