Removed the 'Has Logo' Column from the 'Office Settings' Are in the Company level Admin Tool (5/24/2015)

Updated the Company level Admin tool to remove the "Has Logo" column from the 'Office Settings' area. This inadvertently led users to assume they could remove the office logo by clicking the red 'X' on the office line item in the 'Office Settings' table, which removed the office location. Added the Ability to Upload Office Logos (5/19/2017)

Users can now upload office logos. If a project is associated with a specific office, and that office has a logo, the logo will now be reflected in project emails. If there is no office logo, email messages for that project will use the default project logo. See Upload an Office Logo.

Added Ability To Rename Or Add Divisions (5/11/2017)

Many clients wanted to be able to name or rename their division since this is the name that is displayed on the PDFs across the projects when a certain office is associated to a project. We made this ability customer facing, so if the user has access to the Admin tool at the Company level, they will be able to rename or add a division name now.

Add Custom Owner Types (5/4/2017)

You can now create a list of custom owner types for use with projects. To learn more, see Add a Custom Owner Type.

Updated Deletion of Trades in Company Admin Tool (5/3/2017)

Updated the Trades list on the Trade Configuration page in the Company level Admin tool (under Administrative Settings). A RED 'x' delete icon now appears next to all trades in the list. When a user attempts to delete a trade, the system now validates the action, to determine if the trade is associated with active vendors, observations, punch items, punch templates (company & project), inspections, inspection templates, or daily construction report logs. If the validation finds that there are active associations, the delete action is not permitted. If there are no active associations, the system deletes the trade. See Add or Delete Trades.

Create Meeting Templates for Use with the Meetings Tool (5/2/2017) 

Procore Administrators can now create reusable meeting templates in the company's Admin tool (see Create a Meeting Template). This provides meeting administrators with the ability to create new meetings based on those templates in the project's Meetings tool. See Create a Meeting from a Template.

Added a New Region Settings Area in the Project Settings Page (4/14/2017)

Updated the company's Admin tool to give end users a way to associate their company's Procore projects with a geographic region. For details, see Add a Custom Project Region.

Updated Deletion Warning For Budget Templates (4/11/2017)

Two New Granular Permissions For The Directory Tool (6/28/2017)

Updated the Directory tool to add two new granular permissions. The first allows a user with 'Standard' level permission to add (bulk or individual) users from the Company Directory to a Project Directory. The second allows a 'Standard' to create new users in a Project Directory. To learn about these changes see Grant Granular Permissions in a Permission Template
These new permissions replace the process for allowing 'Standards' to add users to projects in earlier versions of Procore (see the deprecated article, Allow a Standard User to Add a Person and Company to the Project Directory). For existing clients who have used this process, action may be required. Please refer to New Granular Permission Settings to Allow 'Standard' Users to Create and/or Add Users to a Project for details.

Directory Tool's Insurance Fields Now Lock When Vendor Insurance Synced (5/30/2017) 

Updated the ERP Integrations tool so that now, the system locks the insurance fields when a Sage 300 CRE vendor with insurance information is synced with Procore. The list of fields in the Company level Directory tool that now lock when data is synced include: Insurance Type (e.g., General, Automotive, Umbrella, and Worker's), Effective Date, Expiration Date, Limit Amount, Name, and Policy Number. Introducing Granular Permissions (3/24/2017)

Unleash the power of Granular Permissions! Users with 'Admin' level permission to the Company Directory can now provide non-Admin users with enhanced privileges for the Bidding, Commitments, and Documents tools when creating and editing permission templates. If your company's Procore account was created on or prior to 3/23/2017, you will need to request to have this feature enabled (see Request to Enable Granular Permissions). Project Number Now Showing For Synced Sub Jobs (5/23/2017)

Updated the ERP Integrations tool so that now, when the 'Sub Jobs' tab is active, users can click 'Synced' under 'Filters' in the right sidebar. This reveals the 'Synced Sub Jobs' page. For each project, this page shows the project name/number and table displaying Sage 300 CRE IDs and their corresponding Sub Job names.

The hh2 service recently updated the hh2 API to correctly handle deleted categories in Sage 300 CRE. Procore no longer imports or displays deleted categories in the ERP Integrations tool for Sage-integrated companies.

Improved Cost Code Filter On Configurable Views in Budget Tool (5/4/2017)

Previously, when the division filter was in use on Configurable Budget, the cost code filter was not scoped to display only cost codes in that division. This has been changed so that the cost code filter will scope according to the selected division.

  • Renamed the 'Billing Date' field on the Billing Statuses subtab to 'Due Date'. This date is set when an 'Admin' creates a new Billing Period and represents the cut off date for requisition creation. It is also used to pre-fill the 'Billing Date' field on all requisitions.

When a drawing with markup is downloaded, the user is emailed a single, unzipped PDF with markup. Drawings with sketches are still ZIP files.

It also includes template locking, which makes certain fields uneditable on the Project level template. When a Company level template is pulled into a project, the items and sections from the Company level are NOT editable (except for the 'Item Details' field). Users can also add items and sections to the template on the Project level. However, those updates will have no affect on the Company level template.

Added New 'Print With Observations' Button (1/31/2017)

Updated the Inspections tool for users with 'Admin' level permission to add a new "Print w/ Observations" button on the show page of an inspection. When a user clicks this button, the system appends single item PDFs for observations tied to that inspection to the end of the PDF.

When users with 'Admin' level permission to the Meetings tool click this icon, the system displays a shortcut menu with additional meeting options (e.g., Delete Meeting). There is also a new 'All Meetings' view organizes meetings into sets that expand and collapse when you click the arrow button next to the Meeting Name. If the most recent meeting in a series is in Minute Mode, a Follow-up button is also available. Finally, the Search and Add Filter fields are now at the top of the Meetings page.

Added A New Follow Up Button In The Meetings Tool (4/21/2017)

Updated the Meetings tool to change how follow-up meetings are created. Added Previous Meeting Minutes To Follow Up Meetings In Agenda Mode (3/7/2017)

Now, users must change a Meeting Name in edit mode and the Meeting Group header will reflect the most recent Meeting Name as expected. Updated the RFIs tool so that now, when the 'Only Show Official Responses' checkbox is selected in the Configure Settings page, and users with 'Read Only' or 'Standard' permission to the tool export an individual RFI to PDF, the export file only shows the official response. Added Configurable Columns to the RFIs Tool (5/19/2017)

Updated the RFIs tool to add configurable columns to RFIs. Users can now click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) on the right-side of the RFIs table (in the Items and Recycle Bin views) to open a drop-down menu that lets users show, hide, and reorder columns. Restored the 'Only Show Official Responses' Configuration Setting (5/14/2017)

Restored the "Only Show Official Responses" configuration setting to RFIs so that Admins again have the ability to control how the tool is configured. When the setting is enabled, a 'Standard' creator and other users not directly assigned to the RFI will only have permission to view Official Responses. When the setting is disabled, anyone with Read Only permission or higher can view all RFI responses. See Configure Settings: RFIs.

Updated PDF Exports of RFIs (4/13/2017)

Updated the RFIs tool so that now, when a single RFI is exported to PDF, the system will only display the 'Official Response' on the PDF. If there is no Official Response set at the time of the export, the PDF will display "Awaiting Official Response." See Export RFIs

New RFI Manager Field In RFIs Tool (4/12/2017)

RFI Creators must now assign an ‘RFI Manager’ to new RFIs. The ‘RFI Manager’ acts as the information gatekeeper between the Creator and Assignee, giving the system the ability to prevent ‘Standard’ Creators from viewing Assignee responses until the ‘RFI Manager’ marks and distributes the ‘Official Response.’ To learn more, see About the New RFI Manager Field.

Updated the Options for Setting a RFI Manager in 'Configure RFI Settings' (3/15/2017)

Updated the RFI tool's 'Configure RFI Settings' page. Now, end users are presented with two option buttons when setting the default RFI Manager for the tool. These choices let users pick how the 'RFI Manager' field is populated with an RFI is created by a user with 'Standard' level permission. See About the New RFI Manager Field.

Removed the 'All' Selection From the 'Add Filter' List (2/8/2017)

Updated the RFI tool to remove 'All' from the checkbox selection for 'Status' in the 'Add Filter' list because it was redundant. Users will retain the ability to click Select All/Clear All to mark/remove the mark from all Available status checkboxes (i.e., Open, Closed, and Draft). See Search for and Filter RFIs.

New RFI List View (1/8/2016)

Updated the RFI tool's List page so it now includes the 'List' and 'Recycle Bin' links at the top, as well as a Search bar, and the ability to Add a Filter. It also paginates. Differences in functionality are minimal and performance should not be diminished by this change. Changed Wording In Overdue RFI Email (1/4/2017)

Changed the wording in the overdue RFI emails by changing the link from 'Click the View Online Links' to Click the Link. This is a more accurate description, as there are no 'View Online' links in the overdue email.

Added A New "Upload Via Documents Tool" Option To Schedules Tool (7/6/2017)

Updated the Project level Schedules tool to add a new option to schedule data uploads that will import schedules from the Documents tool uploads. After selecting this file upload option, users must specify filename and extension for schedule imports, so anything uploaded to the Documents tool (as a new file upload or new file version upload) with that filename/extension will be uploaded as a new updated Schedule. Note: Schedule files uploaded to the Documents tool will only update the Schedule file if the user who uploads the file is an admin user to the Schedule tool.

Added A "Last Modified" Date/Time To Schedule Settings Page (6/8/2017)

If Received From is selected, Responsible Contractor will default to the company of the Received From selection. Outgoing Email Now Lists Submitter And Approvers (2/4/2017)

Updated the Submittals tool to change the email that is sent when a user clicks 'Create and Send Email' (for sequential approval). Now, the outgoing email notification will separately list the 'Submitter' from the 'Approvers'.

Modified Display Of Paperclip Icon On Attachments In Submittal Revisions (1/31/2017)

Previously when a user created a submittal revision, and the original version had an attachment, the new revision also showed the paperclip icon in the attachment column, even though an attachment had not yet been added to the revision. Now, the paperclip icon no longer appears, unless an attachment has been added to the revision. See Create a Submittal Revision.

Redirect User To Submittal Show Page After Recycle Bin Retrieval (1/31/2017)

Distribution Wizard Now Shows Special Characters In Titles (1/18/2017)

Increased Number of Special Characters Permitted For Passwords (6/1/2017)

Updated Procore to change increase the number of special characters that are permitted in user passwords. Note: This change only updates the requirements. It does not update the validation text in the Procore UI when changing passwords (e.g., the 'Passwords' tab on the 'My Account Settings' page). Added "Learn how to" links in Procore's Sidebar (5/26/2017)

Users can now click the "Learn how to…" link in the lower-right sidebar of Procore's Company and Project level tools. In the pop-window that appears, you can read current support articles about each tool. For users looking to watch Procore's training videos, simply click the Videos tab. Additional videos are also available by clicking the Question Mark (?) icon in the top-right corner of Procore and then choosing Deep Dive Training Videos.

Updated the Attachment Viewer's Fullscreen View (5/23/2017)
