Why isn't the project's budget view reflecting labor costs and production quantities from timecard entries?

Answer

If you are a Procore customer using Procore's Field Productivity and Project Financials tools to track production quantities entered from Procore's timekeeping tools in a project's budget, you can set up the Real-Time Labor Productivity and/or Procore Labor Productivity Cost budget view.

When you are setting up these budget views in Procore, a user with the appropriate permissions must complete two tasks:

  • To include data from future timecard entries in the budget views, you must set the default cost type in the Timesheets tool.
  • To include data from existing timecard entries in the budget views, you must  apply that default cost type in the Timesheets tool.

These actions are required to ensure that Procore's Budget tool includes both existing and future timecard information into your budget views. For step-by-step instructions, please see Configure Settings: Timesheets
