Configure Advanced Settings: Tasks

To configure advanced settings for the Tasks Tool.


Procore's Project level Tasks tool gives you the ability to track and manage action items during a construction project's lifespan. 

Things to Consider

Required User Permissions: 'Admin' Level Permissions on the project's Tasks tool.


  1. Navigate to the project's Tasks tool.
    This reveals the Task tool's list page.
  2. Click Configure Settings (2018-04-16_14-09-35.png). 

  3. Configure the following settings:
    • Task Items Private by Default:
      • Select this checkbox to mark task items as 'Private' by default.
    • Default Due Date for Task items:
      • Enter the desired default number of days in which a new task item will be due.
  4. Click Update to save your settings.
