Disable a the Subcontractor SOV Tab on Commitments

Procore has an option that allows subcontractors to create their own subcontract SOVs. However, Tucker HiRise does not allow them this option as we want to control and create their SOVs for them so progress is tracked and billed in a way that works best for our teams. The following steps are included should the feature become accidentally enabled. Note that this does not disable the SOV for the subcontract entirely, it only prohibits the subcontractors from creating or editing the SOV.

Disable the Subcontractor SOV Tab on the Commitments Tool

This options turns the Subcontractor SOV tab ON for all or a project's commitments. 

  1. Navigate to the project's Commitments tool.
  2. Click Configure Settings icons-settings-gear.png.
  3. On the Contract Configuration page, scroll to the Default Contract Settings area. 
  4. Mark the Disable Subcontractor SOV by Default checkbox.

  5. Click Update.

Disable the Subcontractor SOV Tab on a Commitment Contract

This option turns the Subcontractor SOV tab ON for an individual commitments.  Use this option when the Subcontractor SOV tab is disabled on a project. 

  1. Navigate to the project's Invoicing tool. 
    Note: If you do NOT have 'Admin' permission on the Commitments tool, you
  2. Click the Subcontractor tab. 
  3. Locate the commitment that you want to work with in the list. Then click to open it. 
  4. Click Advanced Settings.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Scroll to the Subcontractor SOV area. 
  7. Mark the Subcontractor SOV checkbox.
