Send Punch List Items (Android)

Objective

To email a punch list item from your Android mobile device.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions: 
    • 'Admin' permissions on the project's Punch List tool.
      Note: 'Read Only' level users cannot be assigned to a punch list list item.
    • 'Standard' permissions on the project's Punch List tool for users who are listed as Default Punch Item Managers in the Punch List configuration settings, see Configure Advance Settings: Punch List. 
  • Additional Information:
    • The punch list item must have already been created and saved before it can be sent.
    • Punch items must have an assignee in order to send the notification.
    • You can automatically send notifications to additional users when 'Item Sent to Assignees (Work Required)' is configured in Advanced Settings. See Configure Advance Settings: Punch List. 
    • Once an initial notification has been sent, selected Assignees will receive daily notifications of overdue items via email; email notifications will end after 45 days. 

Steps

Email All Punch List Items

  1. Navigate to the project's Punch List tool on your Android mobile device.
  2. Tap the Email 2019-02-21_09-23-19.png  icon.

Email Individual Punch List Items 

  1. Navigate to the project's Punch List tool on your Android mobile device.
  2. Tap the item you want to email.
  3. Tap the Email  2018-07-10_11-28-02.png  icon.

  4. Tap into the following fields to enter the appropriate information:
    • To: Add the user(s) who will receive the email.
    • CC: Add the user(s) you want to copy on the email. Note: As the creator of the email, you will be automatically CCed on the email.
    • BCC: Add any user(s) you want to blind carbon copy on the email.
    • Subject: The subject of the email is automatically populated with "FW: Item: [ #]: [title of item ]". You can edit the subject as necessary.
    • Optional Comments: Add any additional comments that will be visible on the email.
  5. Tap Send.
