Link RFIs to a Drawing (iOS)

To link RFIs on a drawing in the Drawings tool on an iOS mobile device.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Read only' and above on the project's Drawings tool.
      'Standard' and above on the project's RFIs tool.
  • This asset/item can be viewed or edited in offline mode provided that the asset/item was previously viewed and cached on your mobile device.


  1. Navigate to the project's Drawings tool on an iOS mobile device.
  2. Tap the drawing to which you want to create and attach an RFI.
  3. In the markup toolbar, tap the shape or line you want to add. See Mark up a Drawing (iOS).
  4. Once you've placed the markup, tap Link.
  5. Tap Link an RFI.
  6. Choose one of the following options:
    • Link an Existing RFI:
      1. Tap an existing RFI item to add it to the markup.
    • Create a new RFI:
      1. Tap + to create a new RFI.
      2. Enter the desired information.
      3. Tap Save to add the new item to the markup.
  7. To publish, tap the markup and tap Publish.
