 Note

Objective

To post an answer to an RFI in a Bid Room in Portfolio Financials.

Background

The RFIs page in the Bid Room is a powerful tool that allows you to manage RFIs from your vendors and keep information consistent across all bidders. When you post an answer to an RFI, vendors will receive an email notification that an answer to an RFI has been posted. While the RFI and its answer will be viewable by all bidders on the RFI page, the bidder who posted the RFI remains anonymous so that your bidders do not know who they are bidding against.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Limited' access to the project or higher.
Note: Users with 'Limited' access must be on the Bid Room Team for the project.
  • Additional Information:
    • When you post an answer to an RFI, all vendors in the Bid Room will be notified by email. You can also post an answer to an RFI that you created and bidders will be notified in the same way.
    • RFIs posted by bidders can be viewed by all vendors on the RFIs page, but the bidder name remain anonymous so that vendors do not know who they are bidding against.
