Open Specifications
Objective
To open a single specification section, division, or the entire specification book using Procore's built-in PDF viewer. If you want to view general information about a specification section, such as the revision history, see View Specifications.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions
- Viewing a specific Specifications Area exports only the specifications related to that particular 'Specification Area'.
Steps
Open a Single Specification Section
- Navigate to the project's Specifications tool.
- Click Open next to the specification section.
- Take any of the following actions:
- Click the X icon to exit the PDF viewer.
- Click the download
icon to download the file. - Click the list
icon to navigate to different divisions or sections. - Click the search
icon to perform a keyword search. - Click the zoom in
or zoom out 
icon to zoom in or out.
Open Entire Specification Book
- Navigate to the project's Specifications tool.
- Click Open Specifications Book.
Note: This shows only the most recently published revision of each specification section. - Take any of the following actions:
- Click the X icon to exit the PDF viewer.
- Click the download icon to download the file.
- Click the list icon to navigate to different divisions or sections.
- Click the search icon to perform a keyword search.
- Click the zoom in or zoom out icon to zoom in or out.
