Objective

To open a single spec section, division, or the entire spec book using Procore's built-in PDF viewer. If you want to view general information about a spec section such as the revision history, see View Specifications.

Steps

Open a Single Spec Section

  1. Navigate to the project's Specifications tool.
  2. Click Open next to the specification section.
  3. Take any of the following actions:
    • Click the X icon to exit the PDF viewer. 
    • Click the download icon-download-arrow2.png icon to download the file. 
    • Click the list icon-list-view-1.png icon to navigate to different divisions or sections.
    • Click the search icon-search.png icon to perform a keyword search.
    • Click the zoom in icon-zoom-in-magnifying-glass.png or zoom out icon-zoom-out-magnifying-glass.png icon to zoom in or out.

Open Entire Spec Book

  1. Navigate to the project's Specifications tool.
  2. Click Open Specifications Book.
    Note:This shows only the most recently published revision of each specification section.
  3. Take any of the following actions:
    • Click the X icon to exit the PDF viewer. 
    • Click the download icon-download-arrow2.png icon to download the file. 
    • Click the list icon-list-view-1.png icon to navigate to different divisions or sections.
    • Click the search icon-search.png icon to perform a keyword search.
    • Click the zoom in icon-zoom-in-magnifying-glass.png or zoom out icon-zoom-out-magnifying-glass.png icon to zoom in or out.
