The Unified Viewer across Document Management, Documents, and Specifications includes a standardized set of keyboard shortcuts designed to accelerate markup, measurement, and navigation workflows. Pressing ? inside the viewer opens the on-screen shortcuts help menu.

  • Which tools are available for quick measurement shortcuts?
    You can quickly toggle measurement tools using the following keys:

    • Distance: Shift + D

    • Arc Measurement: Shift + A

    • Perimeter: Shift + C

    • Area: Shift + O

  • How do I open specific Connected Items panels using keyboard shortcuts?
    You can toggle the main Connected Items panel by pressing I, or open a specific item type directly using Shift + Alt (Windows) / Option (Mac) plus the designated item letter:

    • RFIs: Shift + Alt/Option + R

    • Observations: Shift + Alt/Option + O

    • Punch / Snag: Shift + Alt/Option + S

    • Inspections: Shift + Alt/Option + I

    • Inspection Items: Shift + Alt/Option + N

    • Coordination Issues: Shift + Alt/Option + C

    • Correspondence: Shift + Alt/Option + L

    • Photos: Shift + Alt/Option + P

    • Incidents: Shift + Alt/Option + D

    • Assets: Shift + Alt/Option + T

    • Action Plans: Shift + Alt/Option + A

    • Connected Items in a Workflow: Shift + I

  • How do I apply pre-saved markup styles?
    You can instantly apply pre-configured markup style presets 1 through 4 by pressing Shift + 1, Shift + 2, Shift + 3, or Shift + 4.

  • Why did the key for the Eraser tool change?
    The shortcut for the Eraser tool was updated to Shift + Z to resolve a key conflict and allow Holding Z to trigger the new Marquee Zoom feature.
