View Drawing Hyperlinks in the New Drawings Viewer (Open Beta)
In Beta
This content is in beta. The updated PDF New Drawings Viewer (Beta) in Procore supports system-generated hyperlinks on construction drawings, enabling one-click navigation to referenced Drawings without losing your current view position. System hyperlinks are organized on a dedicated layer, keeping them cleanly separated from user-created markups.
Things to Consider
-
Dedicated Hyperlinks Layer: All system-generated links are located under a read-only Hyperlinks layer within the markups panel.
-
Protected System Links: System-generated hyperlinks are read-only and cannot be edited or deleted.
-
Layer Visibility Toggle: You can toggle the visibility of the hyperlinks layer on or off to hide link markers during drawing review.
-
Markups Separation: Hyperlinks sit on their own dedicated layer, keeping them separate from private and public user markups.
-
PDF Export Behavior: Downloading a drawing using the Download with Markups option retains all active hyperlinks in the exported file.
