View Change History for Documents in the Document Management Tool
Things to Consider

Required User Permissions:

'Standard' or 'Admin' level permission to the project's Document Management tool.
Note: You must be part of a permission group with the 'View Change History' document permission enabled.

Steps

Navigate to the project's Document Management tool.

Open the document that you want to view.

On the right side of the viewer, click the info
icon.
Note: The workflowpanel may open automatically if a workflow is applied to the item. Click the x to close the panel and select the info
icon instead. -
Scroll down to the bottom of the Information panel.

Click Change History.
This opens a panel that lists the changes that have been made to the document in the project. The following information is shown:-
Date: The date and time the change was made.

Action By: The name of the user who made the change.

Changed: A description of the change.

From: The state or attribute that the document changed from.

To: The state or attribute that the document changed to.
Note
The Change History now tracks the following placeholder actions:
- Placeholder created: Records when the placeholder was initially added.
- File uploaded into Placeholder: Records when a file was first attached to the placeholder.
- Status: Tracks transitions between states, for example, from 'Awaiting File' to 'Approved'.
- Placeholder submitted: Records when the document is officially submitted to the project.
