View Change History for Documents in the Document Management Tool
Objective
To view the change history for a document in a project's Document Management tool.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permission to the project's Document Management tool.
Note: You must be part of a permission group with the 'View Change History' document permission enabled.
- 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permission to the project's Document Management tool.
Steps
- Navigate to the project's Document Management tool.
- Open the document that you want to view.
- On the right side of the viewer, click the info icon.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the Information panel.
- Click Change History.
This opens a panel that lists the changes that have been made to the document in the project. The following information is shown:- Date: The date and time the change was made.
- Action By: The name of the user who made the change.
- Changed: A description of the change.
- From: The state or attribute that the document changed from.
- To: The state or attribute that the document changed to.
- To exit out of the change history, click the x icon.
