Download Documents from the Document Management Tool
Things to Consider

Required User Permissions:
-
'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions to the project's Document Management tool.
Note: You can only download documents that you have access to. How do permissions work in the Document Management tool?

Additional Information:

When you download a document, it will have the same filename as the ‘Name’ field in the Document Management tool, regardless of the document’s original filename.
Note: If a filename contains spaces, they will be replaced with hyphens. -
Bulk Download with Markups: You can download documents with markups in bulk directly from the table by selecting Download > Document with Markups.

You can choose to download Public Markups, Private Markups (only those created by your account), or Workflow Markups.

Markups are exported separately per layer type. To download multiple markup layers, perform a separate download for each type.

Steps
-
Navigate to the project's Document Management tool.

You can download and manage documents using the following options:

Download an Individual Document from the Table
-
Bulk Actions from the Table (Download, Packages, History)

Download a Document from the Viewer
-
Download an Individual Document from the Table

Locate the document you want to download.

Click the Download
icon in that document's row. -
If the document contains markups, select your download preference:

Download with Markup: Includes applied markup layers on the file.

Download without Markup: Downloads the raw document file without markups.

The file automatically downloads to your device.
Bulk Actions from the Table (Download, Packages, History)

Select the checkboxes next to the documents you want to manage (up to 300 files).

In the top action bar above the table, select your desired action:

Download Documents without Markups: Click Download > Document Only. The files will download in a compressed
.zipfolder. -
Download Documents with Markups: Click Download > Document with Markups, then select the specific markup layer:

Public Markups

Private Markups
-
Workflow Markups

Export Workflow History: Click Download > Workflow History, then select PDF or CSV.

Add Items to a Package: Click Add to Package, select the target package, and confirm. (Available on the Documents and Uploads tabs).

Remove Items from a Package: Click Remove from Package. (Available on the Package Items section of a package detail page and the Uploads tab).

Your browser will process the request and download the selected files, ZIP folder, or workflow export to your device, or update package assignments accordingly.
Download a Document from the Viewer

Click the name of the document to open it in the viewer.

In the side panel, click the Download
icon. -
If the document contains markups, select your download preference:

Download with Markup: Includes applied markup layers on the file.

Download without Markup: Downloads the raw document file without markups.

The file automatically downloads to your device.
