Procore is updating Project Overview with a new Procore Connect dashboard where project admins can quickly approve, reject, and manage connections. Users in upstream or downstream projects can view a list of connected projects and access the Connection Manager tool from the Project Overview. This new dashboard is in a phased release and gradually becomes available to all accounts over the next week. Learn more about this Procore Connect dashboard and how to use it.
The Connection Manager user interface has been modernized to provide a more seamless, user-friendly experience and to prepare to support connections between additional project tools. There are no changes to existing functionality with this enhancement.
With this enhancement, a banner will appear to inform users in a downstream project that drawing revisions are out of sync with the upstream project. This improved messaging helps users across connected projects stay aligned and make sure they're always working from the most up-to-date information.
Connected projects with up to 50,000 drawing revisions are now supported by the Connection Manager. Previously, only projects with up to 25,000 revisions were supported. Users can now enjoy the benefits of Procore Connect on larger projects that contain more data.
Beginning today and over the course of the next few weeks, Procore is gradually releasing the capability to connect projects within the same Procore company account. Intra-company connections will function identically to connections across different company accounts, including approval requirements and behavior. To learn more about connecting projects, see About Procore Connect.
The connection of drawings in the Drawings tool across different Procore company accounts using the Connection Manager is now generally available. To learn more about connecting drawings, see About Procore Connect.
The Connection Manager is a new tool that will allow you to connect your project to another company's project in Procore. Initially, you can set your connection settings and distribution list. See Configure Project Connection Settings, Configure Advanced Settings: Connection Manager, and About Procore Connect.
