Linking Internal and External RFIs on a Downstream Project

 In Beta

This feature is currently in beta for Procore customers. See User Guide: Procore Connect for RFIs.

Background

After connecting your project, link Internal and External RFIs to comprehensively track the relationship between your RFI and its corresponding external record (via Procore Connect). Linking improves data integrity by creating a clear audit trail, allowing project teams to easily reference an inquiry and its corresponding official external response

Things to Consider

Prerequisites

Ensure your project is actively connected via Connection Manager or Initiate a Project Connection.

Steps

  2. In the Items tab, click View next to the desired RFI.
  3. Click the Link to External RFI button.
Note: This button will appear as Manage Links if items have already been linked to the RFI.
