Objective

When creating an Action Plan, you can add assignees to certain tasks. If the plan has already been published, you can still add assignees by following these steps.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Action Plans tool.
      OR
    • 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permissions with the 'Create or Edit Action Plan' granular permission.
  • Additional Information
    • Assignees added when an action plan is being created or edited are considered required and can only be removed while creating or editing an action plan. See Edit an Action Plan.
    • 'Blocking Functionality' can only be configured when an action plan is being created or edited. See Edit an Action Plan.
    • Additional assignees added while an action plan is being performed are considered optional and can be removed while performing or editing an action plan.
    • The assignee must be an active user or contact in the Project level Directory tool.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Action Plans tool.
  2. Click View next to the action plan with the item you want to assign.

    1. If the verification method is not listed in the drop-down menu, click +Create New Verification Method.
Note: You must have 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Admin tool to perform this action.

    3. Click Create.
