Sync Vista Compliance Documents with Compliance in Commitments

Objective

To sync compliance documents added to subcontracts in Viewpoint® Vista™ with the Compliance tab in Procore commitments.

Background

If your company has enabled the ERP Integrations tool and configured it to work with Viewpoint® Vista™, your project's accountants can add compliance documents in Viewpoint® Vista™ toward subcontracts synced in Procore. This feature automatically imports the specified Viewpoint® Vista™ compliance documents into the Compliance tab on the Procore subcontract.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  • 'Admin' level permission on the company's ERP Integrations tool.
• Requirements:
  • The ERP Integrations tool must be configured for Viewpoint® Vista™. 
  • The Commitments tool must be active on the desired project(s). 
  • The Compliance tab must also be enabled in the project's Commitments tool. 
• Prerequisites:
  • Procore Pay must be enabled on your project. See Enable or Disable Procore Pay on Your Projects.
  • The 'Contract Compliant' payment requirement must be enabled in the company's Payments tool. See Configure Payment Requirements: Commitment Requirements.
  • The subcontract for which the compliance documents are being imported must be exported to Viewpoint® Vista™. See Export a Commitment to an Integrated ERP System.
  • The compliance documents must be added to the subcontract in Viewpoint® Vista™. 

• Additional Information:
  • Users cannot edit compliance documents for synced subcontracts in Procore. 
  • Compliance documents for subcontracts synced with Procore are imported from Viewpoint® Vista™ every four hours.

Steps

1. Navigate to the project's Commitments tool. 
2. In the Contracts tab, locate the desired subcontract. 
3. Click the Number link to open it. 
4. In the commitment, click the Compliance tab. 
5. Click the Compliance tab. A GREEN icon indicates that the compliance documents have successfully been synced.
