Core Tools

Admin (Company Level)

Summary of Change

Procore Explore - Generally Available

Procore Explore allows administrators to manage your company's access to some of the new features released to Procore. Right now, features available through Explore are beta features. Explore is found in the Company level Admin tool. See Manage Features with Procore Explore.

Admin (Project Level)

Summary of Change

New Project Setup Notifications

Beginning today, Procore is gradually releasing an improved project setup notification experience. You'll see an in-app banner informing that project setup is in progress, and you'll receive an email notification as soon as your project is fully configured and ready. The banner automatically disappears when project setup is complete. See How do I know when project setup is complete?

Enhanced Project Create and Project Admin Experience

Procore is gradually releasing modernized user interfaces to the 'Project Create' and Project level Admin tool 'General' tab screens. This enhancement introduces clearer, more intuitive terms for project dates. The 'Start Date' field is now labeled 'Contract Signed Date'. The 'Completion Date' field is now labeled 'Substantial Completion Date'. Functionality does not change with this enhancement.
Rollback notice: We reverted these two fields back to their original names: 'Start Date' and 'Completion Date.'

Reports (Company Level)

Summary of Change

360 Reporting: Expand All Groups Feature

Procore introduced a new feature in 360 Reporting that allows users to expand or collapse all grouped rows with a single click, enhancing efficiency for reports with up to 1000 rows of data. This update eliminates the need to expand each row individually, streamlining the process of viewing detailed report information. To learn more, see View a Company 360 Report.

Task Distribution Data Included in 360 Reporting

Procore is integrating Task Distribution data into 360 Reporting, allowing users to include task distributions in their reports. This enhances data insights by enabling users to report on members involved in task distributions. See What Data is Available in the RFIs Dataset for Enhanced Reporting?

Enhanced Bidding Data Integration in 360 Reporting

Procore is integrating bidding data into the 360 Reporting platform as part of the Preconstruction dataset, allowing users to analyze bidding performance metrics alongside other critical data points. The 360 Reporting platform enables users to gain a holistic view of campaign outcomes and optimization opportunities by consolidating bidding data with broader performance metrics. Permissions Reporting Included in Directory Dataset 

Procore is expanding the Directory & Portfolio dataset to include permissions data, enabling customers to report on user permissions effectively. The Permissions feature now encompasses Project Permissions, Company Permissions, Project Granular Permissions, and Company Granular Permissions.

Workflows

Summary of Change

Auto-Assign Project Roles to Workflow Steps - available For all workflow-enabled tools 

Procore has introduced a feature that allows workflow admins to auto-assign project roles to workflow steps, reducing manual configuration and ensuring workflows stay in sync with role assignments. Additionally, project roles can be leveraged as notification recipients, ensuring timely and accurate communication throughout the workflow lifecycle. To learn more, see Create a Workflow Template.

Enhanced Mobile Workflow Functionality with Parallel Responders 

Procore is expanding mobile workflow capabilities to include support for parallel responders, aligning mobile functionality with the web platform. Mobile users can now view all assigned responders for a parallel review step, track task completion, and ensure permissions are respected. This results in enhancing productivity and reducing workflow bottlenecks, especially for complex processes requiring simultaneous input from multiple individuals resulting in faster approvals and more efficient project execution.  To learn more, see Create a Workflow Template.

Bid Board (Company Level)

Summary of Change

Non Disclosure Agreements to View Bid Packages

Procore supports Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) to protect proprietary information in bid packages. Some bid packages will require sub contractors to sign an NDA before viewing the contents of the bid package. See Sign a Non Disclosure Agreement for a Bid Package.

Bidding (Project Level)

Summary of Change

NOn Disclosure Agreements Available in Bidding

Procore has integrated Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) into the bid package process to enhance security and compliance for projects requiring confidentiality. The NDA feature streamlines the process, reduces administrative burdens, and minimizes risks associated with unauthorized information dissemination. See Create a Bid Package.

Search by Office Address on the PRocore Construction Network

When adding bidders from the Procore Construction Network, you can now search for vendors based on their physical office address, making it easy to find companies in a specific city, state, or region. See Search for and Filter Companies to Add to a Bid Form.

Planroom (Company Level)

Enhanced Document Access in Planroom Tool

Procore is improving the Bidding tool by allowing bidders to download individual documents from the Planroom, enhancing efficiency and reducing download times. Planroom tool users can access specific project documents, changes, and drawings without downloading entire bid packages.


Project Management

Coordination Issues (Project Level)

Summary of Change

Enhanced Coordination Issues with Multiple Viewpoints

Procore is enhancing the Coordination Issues side panel by allowing the addition of up to four model viewpoints per issue. Multiple viewpoints gives you a more comprehensive view and control over your project. See Create a Coordination Issue.

Correspondence (Project Level)

Summary of Change

Enhanced flexibility for linking in CORRESPONDENCE tool

Procore is restoring flexibility for users with edit access to add, remove, and update linked items in the Correspondence tool. Users can manually manage RFI and Correspondence links for a more efficient workflow and improved reporting experience.

Incidents (Project Level)

Summary of Change

The Incidents tool now has a modernized, more intuitive layout and design. There are no changes to functionality. See Incidents to learn more about this tool. 

Inspections (Company Level)

Procore has streamlined the management of inspections templates by introducing bulk remove capabilities. The functionality now allows users to efficiently manage templates across multiple projects, enhancing administrative efficiency and reducing errors. Meetings (Project Level)

Summary of Change

modernized Meetings Experience

Procore has updated the Meetings tool for enhanced performance and user experience. Users will find a consolidated menu for key actions and a new Activity Feed replacing the previous Comments tab. The rich-text editor now supports tables and improved list formatting, plus there's a new autosave feature for minutes. The Minutes Approval process has also been streamlined, collapsible sections added, and the attendee experience and attachments view improved. These changes aim to make meeting management in Procore more efficient and collaborative. To learn more, see Meetings.

Augmented Reality for BIM Models on iOS

Procore is introducing the new Augmented Reality feature for Models on iOS within the BIM solution, enhancing visualization and interaction with 3D models. The Augmented Reality feature allows construction stakeholders to experience models in a real-world context, improving collaboration and decision-making. See Calibrate the Model on iOS.

Specifications  (Project Level)

Summary of Change

New Granular Permissions for Specifications

Procore has introduced new granular permissions to the Specifications tool, allowing for more precise control over user actions within the tool. The Specifications tool now supports more than a dozen new actions that can be configured within permission templates, providing enhanced flexibility and control. Sage 300 CRE® 

SYNC UNIT DETAILS BETWEEN Sage 300 CRE® AND PROCORE

Procore allows Sage 300 CRE® users to synchronize unit details, including quantity, UOM, and unit cost, for estimate line items in budgets, budget changes, prime contracts, and PCCOs. This enhancement improves accuracy in financial tracking by eliminating manual data entry and discrepancies between Sage 300 CRE® and Procore. Timesheets (Company Level)

Summary of Change

Enhanced Company Timesheet Settings Experience

Procore is introducing a new settings experience in company Timesheets. The new settings offer a more intuitive and consistent configuration experience, with separate tabs for general configurations, payroll-based settings, and overtime management settings. Procore has launched a new sidepanel across all company and project-level pages in the web application. It offers a consistent, visible experience, providing  one-click access to both first- and third-party services directly within Procore.
