Why is the Procore for Outlook add-in not visible in my email account after installation?

Background

When installing or deploying add-ins from the Microsoft App Store, there is often a delay between the successful installation message and the add-in actually appearing in the user's interface. This is controlled by Microsoft's exchange servers, not Procore.

Answer

This is a known Microsoft synchronization delay. Although the deployment is technically complete, the add-in can take up to 72 hours to become visible in your Outlook ribbon. For details, see Microsoft's Deploy add-ins in the Microsoft 365 admin center support article.
