Why Do I Receive Action-Oriented Emails for Photos?
Answer
All emails related to the Photos tool follow a new, consistent design system that notifies you on the following events:
-
User @ mentions in comments: When you are mentioned in a photo comment, you will receive an email notification. The email shows who mentioned you and allows you to respond instantly using the Reply to Comment in Procore link in the email.
-
New photo uploads: When new photos are uploaded to your project's Photos tool, you will receive an email notification. The email includes details on who uploaded them, as well as the specific date and time of the upload. It allows you to use the following options:
-
View in Procore: Use this option to quickly view the new photos.
-
Download: Use this option to download the new photos to your device.
Note: Users who have subscribed to the Photos tool in a project will also receive this email notification.
-
-
Photos shared via email: When photos are shared with you via email using the Photos tool, you will receive an email notification. The email specifies the project name. From the email, you can view the photos directly in Procore or download them to your device.
The email design helps project teams to quickly understand updates, take clear action, and jump directly into the relevant area of Procore to follow up or continue their work. The updated email layouts are easier to scan and interact with across all devices, improving reachability.
