Background

There are two ways to search for items in Procore:

  • Procore Search. Search for items across a project from any tool by clicking into the Search icon-search.png bar in the Procore header. 
  • Tool-based Search. Search for items within a single tool, in a single project.

Procore Search provides a single, consistent search experience across tools in a project. Instead of needing to search separately within each tool, you can search for items across an entire project to quickly locate the information you need. Searchable items and filter options vary depending on whether you use Procore Search, or tool-based search.
