What granular permissions are available for the project's Observations tool?

Background

In Procore, the term granular permissions refers to task-based privileges that can be granted to users with 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permissions on certain tools through the users' assigned permissions templates.

The table below shows the granular permissions that are available for the project's Observations tool.

Assign Observations to Users in the Same Company

Limits a user’s ability to assign Observations to other users within the same company.

Can Assign Standard and Eligible Read Users to Observations

Grants a user the privilege to assign 'Standard' level and ‘Read’ level users, who possess the 'Can be Assigned as Observation Assignee' granular permission, to Observations.

Note: This granular permission only applies to observations created by the user.

Can be Assigned as Observation Assignee

Provides the ability for the user to be assigned as an Observation Assignee, which includes commenting and setting the status to 'Ready for Review'.
