Background

In Procore, the term granular permissions refers to task-based privileges that can be granted to users with 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permissions on certain tools through the users' assigned Permissions Template. The table below shows the granular permissions that are available for the Project level Equipment tool.

Add Equipment from the Company Register

Grants users the privilege to add equipment to their project from the Company level Equipment tool. See Add Equipment to Projects in the Project level Equipment Tool.

Create Admin or Project-Only Equipment

Grants users the privilege of creating project-only equipment that is not added to the Company level Equipment register.

Create Owned Equipment

Grants users the privilege of creating equipment records for owned equipment. See Create an Equipment Record in the Project Equipment Tool.

Create Rented and Subcontracted Equipment

Grants users the privilege of creating equipment records for rented or subcontracted equipment. See Create an Equipment Record in the Project Equipment Tool.

Update Equipment Status
