How do I Resolve Being "Unable to Re-import Budget" from ERP

Answer

If the Re-import button is grayed out when filtering for Synced items while trying to import a budget from Sage 300 CRE®, follow the instructions below to remedy the issue.

Steps

The issue is usually caused for one of two reasons. Follow the instructions that best match your situation.

If the Budget is Locked in Procore

  1. Navigate to the project-level Budget tool
  2. Click the Unlock the Budget button.
  3. Return to the company-level ERP Integrations tool.
  4. Return to the Budgets tab, using the Synced filter you should now be able to click the Re-import button.

If the Budget has been exported to Sage 300 CRE® and can no longer be imported

Depending upon the number of updates that have been made to the original estimate amounts in Sage 300 CRE®, you can choose to correct this issue with one of the following two options:

  1. If there have been few updates to the original estimate amounts in Sage 300 CRE®, and you prefer to manage your budget in Procore and continue exporting to Sage 300 CRE®:
    1. Reverse your changes in Sage 300 CRE®. Please consult your Sage 300 CRE® documentation for instructions.
    2. Update the budget in Procore.
    3. Re-send the budget to Sage 300 CRE®.
  2. If you intend to continue managing your budget in Sage 300 CRE® and re-import, Procore ERP Support will need to break the link. Contact Support to discuss options. Note: If you are using budget modifications in Procore, you should not choose this option, since they can only be exported from Procore to Sage 300 CRE®.

If these steps do not resolve your issues, please contact Support with details of which error you have been receiving and which steps you have already tried along with the exact outcome.
