How can I set up MFA before the enforcement deadline?

Generally Available - Limited Rollout

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is generally available through a limited rollout process. Contact your Procore point of contact for more information about availability.

Background

To enhance account security, your company can set a future date to enforce the use of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) officially. An email notification will notify you before this enforcement date. You have the option to set up MFA for your account proactively before this deadline to ensure a smooth transition and avoid any potential access interruptions on the enforcement day.

Example

This is the email that users at your company will receive once your Company Admin sets your company's enforcement date.

Answer

Once your Company Admin enables MFA and sets your company's enforcement date, you can enroll in MFA by following these steps:

  1. Click your avatar in the menu bar and navigate to My Profile Settings.
  2. Click the Security Settings tab.
     Important
If you do not see the Security Settings tab, it means your company has not set an MFA enforcement date yet. You can only set up MFA after your company's administrator officially enables this feature. See Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for your Company's Procore Account.
  3. Click Enroll in MFA.
  4. Follow the subsequent on-screen steps to configure MFA for your account.
