Delete a Response to an RFI

PREVIOUS CURRENT LESSON (13 of 30) NEXT

Deleting RFI responses is not recommended. When you delete a response to an RFI, it will be permanently deleted from Procore. The response will be unrecoverable. For the most part should only be deleted if they were posted accidentally, contain a typo, etc, in which case the deleted response should be replaced with a corrected response. Keep in mind that you will have the opportunity to flag the most relevant responses as "Official Responses" and they will be summarised at the top of the RFI once it is closed

  1. Navigate to the project's RFIs tool.
  2. Click the Items tab.
  3. Locate the desired RFI. Then click View. Note that Responses can only be deleted from 'Open' RFIs.
  4. Click Edit
  5. Scroll to the Question + Responses area.
  6. Under All Responses, click Delete.
