Daily Log

Collect Information Now to Avoid Conflict Later
Daily logs are the main way field data is captured. As with many of our other daily tasks, the main purpose of the daily log is cataloging what's happening on site so that if and when a conflict arises, all parties can look at the situation more objectively. In many cases, the information included in the daily log is what resolves conflicts or prevents them from escalating further. Taking accurate and detailed daily logs with this in mind allows all parties to get to the truth more quickly, saving time, money and headache for you, your project team, your clients, and your trade partner.
The Procore Daily Log has many options for entering details about the Site, at a minimum, we must record the following key elements :
- Manpower (each day)
- Photos (each day)
- Weather (automatic)
- Notes (each day)
- Delays (when applicable)
- Visitors (when applicable)
- Inspections (when applicable)
Below is an image of a completed Daily Log. You will see there are detailed notes along with locations, as well as attachments of relevant delivery slips, reports, inspections, and checklists.

The best lawyer we can get is a complete and detailed Daily Log.
