Create a Change Event from an RFI

Creating a change event from the source such as an RFI, Instruction (SI), or Observation saves you time by automatically adding data to associated fields and creating the related item. In general, change events should rarely be created from the Change Events tool, and instead should be created from their associated source tool.

  1. Navigate to your project's RFIs tool.
  2. Locate the RFI that you will use to create the change event. Then click View.
  3. Click + Create Change Event.
    Note: The system redirects you to the create page in the Change Events tool.

  4. Complete the steps documented in Create a Change Event. 
  5. Click Save.
