With regards to Budget, it shouldn't be necessary to go into a lengthy explanation on its importance or why attention to detail matters. Operating as a CM, cost and revenue are the same as far as Procore is concerned, so any sort of smoke and mirrors efforts between budget lines really just make the job of everyone involved more difficult. In short, keep commitments, costs, and projections in the budget line it makes most sense for them to be in, regardless of the optics. 

It is worth noting that the Tucker Budget View has been configured based on the needs of many parties including Project Teams, the Executive Team, Accounting, and Clients, and that this view is not easily modifiable.
