Update Procore Drive

Objective

To update the Procore Drive application on your computer. 

Background

Procore periodically releases updates for the Procore Drive application. It is recommended that soon after a release is announced, you open, close, and then re-open the app so that it automatically updates to the newest version. 

Things to Consider

Admin privileges to the computer are required to perform a manual update. 

Steps

Automatic Update

  1. Open Procore Drive. If it was already open, you need to close it first. 
  2. Close Procore Drive.
  3. Re-open Procore Drive. 

Upon opening, Procore Drive checks if there are any newer version available. If it finds one, it downloads it in the background. To complete the installation of the new version, you must close and reopen the app. 

To verify that you're using the latest version, check the version number shown on your app against the most recent version number in the Procore Drive release notes. 

Manual Update

  1. Open Procore Drive. 
  2. Log in with your credentials. See Log into Procore Drive. 
  3. Click the bell icon. 
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the side panel. If a Procore Drive update is available, click the Download and Restart button.
    This automatically downloads the latest version to your computer and restarts your system after the installation is complete.
