Procore Drive - Setup Guide

Objective

To download and install Procore Drive on a PC or laptop that is running a supported version of Windows.

Things to Consider

  • Procore Drive can only be installed on a system running Microsoft Windows 10 or newer. It is NOT supported on earlier versions of Microsoft Windows, iOS devices, or the OS X operating system.
  • You do not need to be an Admin to install Procore Drive. However, the application will only be available on your user profile. If your machine has other users, they also need to install the Procore Drive application on their user profile.
  • Procore Drive observes the same user access permissions as the Procore web application. For example, to upload files to the Documents tool, your user account must be granted 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions to the Documents tool.

Steps

There are two (2) ways to install Procore Drive on a Windows computer. Choose the installation scenario that works best for you:

  • If you want to install Procore Drive on your Windows computer for the first time, the steps are given below:
  • If you already installed Procore Drive and want to update to the latest version, see Update Procore Drive.

Install Procore Drive for the First Time

  1. Click the link below to download the latest version of Procore Drive:

  2. After the download is complete, open the installer in one of the following ways:
    • From your browser:
      • Go to the 'Downloads' area of your browser, and click ProcoreDriveSetup.exe.
    • From your computer:
      • Locate the ProcoreDriveSetup.exe file in the Downloads area of your compute and click ProcoreDriveSetup.exe.
  3. Wait for the installer to finish.
    Notes:
    • The installation typically requires approximately one (1) minute. To avoid running a second instance of the installer, always wait for the installation to complete instead of attempting to run the installer a second time.
    • The default installation path for Procore Drive is:
      C:\users\account name\appdata\local\Procore Technologies\Procore Drive.
      This cannot be changed.
  4. When installed, Procore Drive launches automatically. If it does not launch, double-click the Procore Drive icon on your computer's desktop.
You can now log in to your account and begin using Procore Drive. See Log in to Procore Drive.
