Revise a Bid Form in Portfolio Financials
Objective
To edit a bid form for a Bid Room in Portfolio Financials.
Background
The Bid Room in Portfolio Financials is a shared portal between the owner and bidders. Before you can send and manage bids, you must set up the Bid Room and its components. The bid form is a collection of fields provided to your bidders for them to provide pricing and other information as part of their bids. The bid form can be revised even after it is published and bidders have been invited.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Limited' access to the project or higher.
Note: Users with 'Limited' access must be on the Bid Room Team for the project.
- 'Limited' access to the project or higher.
- Additional Information:
- If you revise a bid form, bidders will receive an email notification letting them know that changes were made to the form.
- Bidders will need to re-submit their bids if you revise the bid form. However, they will not lose any of the information they have previously entered.
Prerequisites
- A bid form must exist in a Bid Room. See Create a Bid Form for a Bid Room.
Steps
- Navigate to the relevant Bid Room.
- Click the Bid Form tab.
- Click Revise Bid Form.
- Edit the information on the bid form as necessary.
- Optional: You can also start the bid form over from the beginning by clicking New Bid Form.
Important
If you choose to start a new bid form, your current bid form will be deleted and your bidders will be notified of the new bid form. If your bidders are unable to see revisions you have made to the bid form, check to make sure the bid form is published. This is shown on the Bid Form page.
